Progress at a viable pace
The provincial collaboration to develop a structured, consistent approach to medical staff practice enhancement is led by the health authorities, with facilitation and support from the BC Medical Quality Initiative (BC MQI).
Collaborative work in 2019-20 has produced:
- A program model
- Selection of supportive tools
- A plan to initiate aspects of the MSPE program with select early users in 2021
Health organizations are sensitive to the impacts of the ongoing pandemic on practitioners, their leaders and support staff; timelines are subject to change accordingly.
