360° feedback for medical staff

BC health authorities are aligning to provide multisource feedback to medical staff using the Medical Council of Canada (MCC) 360 program.

The MCC 360 will launch with provisional medical staff during their first two years with a health authority.

Why introduce 360 assessments for provisional medical staff?

  • To offer practitioners timely, relevant and actionable feedback on their practice.
  • To support conversations between practitioners and their leaders with robust data and a structured approach to individual action planning for professional growth.

Ultimately, 360 assessments are envisioned as one component of a more fulsome framework for ongoing quality improvement and practice enhancement.
